Objectives of the workshop
- Showcase the latest practices & tools developed through research in the area of Cloud Governance, and how they support the objectives of the Digital Single Market Communication Strategy
- Identify synergies between projects’ achievements and the CSA WGs’ outputs
- Validate results and identify possible go to market strategies for the tools and services developed.
Several EU Stakeholders, EC, Industry, Research Institutions, SMEs, have been focusing in past years in the identification, creation and deployment of solutions that could facilitate the adoption of security solutions for cloud computing. Those solutions include frameworks, architectures, best practices, tools and educational material that are meant to enforce accountability, manage SLA, facilitate procurement, educate on real and perceived risks to security and privacy, and ultimately facilitate governance and compliance. The workshop was the opportunity to discuss how the five above mentioned projects are contributing to these topics.
